This will be the default configuration for our class. You will need network access at least at the start of the project to allow Maven to populate your local repository. More info to be provided in class.

Spring Framework MVC Maven Starter Project

Note: This project only has starter code for a “Hello World” to run. It’s only purpose is to give you a start to a new Spring MVC Maven project.

(Download to your downloads folder or another easily remembered folder.)

After importing you can copy/paste this project in the Eclipse Project Explorer pane and create a new empty Spring Framework MVC Maven project renamed for your new Project. Remember to give the artifact a new name and the Web Context Root a new top URL.
