Course Description:

Building on the lessons of SQL Programming – Basic, this course covers ANSI/SQL (using MySQL) where students will learn through hands-on tasks and lectures the SQL statements to demonstrate advanced techniques and methods for query solutions and techniques for database developers involving database design and normalization, SQL data types, querying, grouping, set operations, optimization, data scaling, and encoding.

Student Expectations:

• Students will attend as many of the scheduled classes as possible.
• Students will be personally responsible for any assignments given in class.
